Pregnancy & Newborn Photos

Ginny Adkins is a portrait photographer combining artistic documentary and photojournalistic touches to the world of contemporary photography. Ginny holds a Bachelor in Arts from the University of Central Florida and she continues her photography education by attending conventions, seminars and workshops around the county to be able to offer the best to her clients.  Dedication to her art and business set Ginny apart in the growing market of photographers.  As a proud member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and numerous charity organizations Ginny feels very strongly about professional unity and giving back to the community through her photography.  Ginny currently resides in coastal Central Florida with her husband and son.

Ginny specializes in photojournalistic, on-location, natural light portraits. The goal is to be where the client is most comfortable and relaxed. (Please book early to ensure you are getting the best time for your child). Ginny offers this custom photography in hopes of capturing the true essence of her clients.  By offering on-location photography, you are assured your portraits will be as unique as you are. Ginny will allow your child to warm up, show her their favorite toys, or snuggle with mom and dad anytime during the session. The memories treasured most are genuine happiness, delight, exploration, and the love between families.  There are so many choices when it comes to capturing your memories, Ginny will work with you to reflect your style and find the perfect way to showcase your portraits.

Maternity Session- There is nothing more miraculous than the expectant mother.  Capture the beauty of this special time in your life for generations to enjoy.  Your maternity session can be scheduled when you are just starting to show and all the way up to being overdue.  Because all babies have their own timetable for arrival it is often suggested to schedule your maternity session around 32-37 weeks.

Newborn Sessions- The precious newborn sessions are best when held before the new baby is two weeks old. An amazing newborn baby will change so much in such a short period of time.  “Less is more” when it comes to outfits on your newborn during a session. Often to capture the true size and not compete with the natural beauty of your infant the photo session will be completed with a diaper cover or nothing at all. Being a mother herself, Ginny understands the needs of a newborn and will not rush any part of these sessions.  Feel free to nurse, change, or cuddle your baby at anytime.
